Here are some of our most commonly asked questions:
What is your worship service like?
Our morning worship service is Sunday at 10:45 AM. The first portion of each service
is focused on worship through music, prayer, and testimony. The major part of the
service is a time of Bible teaching from God’s Word. Our Sunday evening service,
which is held the first Sunday of each month at 6:30 PM, is a time of celebrative
worship and innovative methods of Bible teaching and encouragement.
What is your worship style?
The focus of our music is to exalt the Lord and glorify His name through our songs.
The music is contemporary in style and is selected to help direct our praise and
worship to God.
What do people wear?
Our desire is to provide an atmosphere of worship and family and not to put unnecessary
importance on dress. Although dress tends to be casual at West Greenway, dressing
up or dressing casually are equally accepted. You are welcome to come as you are!
Is it okay to bring my children into the worship service?
Children are welcome in the services. We understand the some young children may
find it difficult to leave their parents in an unfamiliar setting. We provide nursery
care and Sunday school for infants through grade six during services. Our teachers
and nursery workers are caring and compassionate and will do everything possible
to make you and your child comfortable in a new setting.
Do you have something for children and youth?
We have strong children’s and youth groups. You may contact the church office at
602-978-4406 for more information or email us at
.
What Bible version do you use?
The most common version used at West Greenway is the New American Standard Bible,
although our people use a variety of Bible versions. Pastor John teaches from the
New American Standard Bible. If your preferred version is not NASB that is fine
with us, and there are NASB Bibles in the seats for you to use during services if
you would prefer.
